Verdun is near Southbank, a ferry ride south of Burns Lake. The repeater was originally installed in a television broadcast site by the Lakes District Amateur Radio Club. The club was closed and the members joined PGARC so this site now belongs to the PGARC. We hope to update the repeater in 2011.
