The Prince George Amateur Radio Club is always looking to support the out lying areas of British Columbia. We enjoy helping to keep the terrestrial linking and digital modes operational in the areas where there is a smaller population of Amateur operators, areas without clubs to help with the finances and labour.

The Prince George Amateur Radio Club also assists these out lying areas by including their radio sites on our Liability Insurance Policy. This protects these Amateur Radio operators from liability issues, as well as opening doors to allow them to populate new sites, without risk to the owners of those sites.

We also may show up in your community as part of a search and rescue event where mutual aid is requested to help the local SAR group or for some other event when PEP asks for our help.

The Liability Insurance Policy costs us over $800.00 per year, and our current membership does not cover this amount. We do have some fund raising projects, but we have been struggling to cover this large purchase every year. We are asking all out lying areas that do not have their own club to join the Prince George Amateur Radio Club to help support us, so we can continue to support you.

If you want to make a donation to the club, please make it for a different amount than a membership to avoid confusion and if using a cheque, please mark it accordingly.

A family membership applies to all Radio Amateurs in the family who are living at the same address. A family membership is entitled to one vote.
